Gipsy On The Devils Ride
It wasn’t all that long ago that most biker shows on TV were about building obscenely expensive and nearly un-ridable custom motorcycles. Viewers of these shows could pretend that they were skilled enough to build a custom bike and somehow like magic become a rich and famous celebrity or join the elite club of A-listers who love to flaunt their fabulous machines. I described it HERE as too much of nothing!
But, American infotainment marches on to find even more drama and action so now we have the Laffing Devils MC on a Discovery TV show called The Devils Ride, which is like watching the Wildhogs movie except they were funny!
The show’s executive producer, Jason Hervey told Realscreen, a webzine about the global business of factual entertainment that “They are not a gang, but I will tell you they are a fierce group of individuals.” Hervey also told Realscreen that the Laffing Devils initially scoffed at his invitation to become celebrities. They reportedly told him, “We aren’t the Kardashians, brother – we’re the real deal.” “They take a lot of pride in their club,” Hervey said. “There is a lot of respect and protocol that goes into interacting with them. Essentially there was a big process about trust, because they didn’t want to look silly or do a ‘typical reality show.’”
Well on the respect front they over promised and under delivered. I feel disrespected for having watched 2 episodes thinking the show would develop into something of interest, but now all I want is my time back!
To prove the point about it being faux at every turn just go to the sweepstakes or Facebook page and you’ll notice that they’ve reversed most or photoshopped the photos of Gipsy’s motorcycle. I guess the devil head shifter just looks too cool on the wrong side!
Shame on Discovery producers of The Devil’s Ride for trying to cash in on the biker niche market. This is about as big a dud as the Facebook IPO!

The Devils are a bitc— er ‘support club’ for the HA. That became obvious when club members jumped to attention when ‘Rusty’ (HA chapter prez and owner of a custom motorcycle shop) tasked them with going to Vegas to repo a bike from one of his customers. They knew if they screwed the pooch on this one their existence was in jeopardy. Lesson to be learned here: Don’t ask for permission. To do so means you exist at the whim of another.
You think the HA’s would allow a support club to act like this on National TV? Come on dude.

I watched the show last night. Was I confused when Gipsy told the boys, you know where I live and then he says, “really” when they show up at his house.

The Laffed at Devils called the cops and are pressing charges. I can’t imagine ever seeing one again riding around SD with their patch unless they’re filming the show and have a police escort.
This show is the best show on tv. It’s so real and useful to show the world what real outlaws are about. About as useful as a one legged man at an ass kicking contest.

i live very close (in la mesa ca, sd county) to ‘ Gipsy ‘ who is Tommy … they are the same person.
yes he was arrested for lewd acts upon a minor, supposedly a step daughter. he was accused by ‘a family member’ according to reports. he was out on bail almost immediately.
he’s still around his house, but has shaved all his facial hair and wears golf or newsboy type caps instead of baseball caps. he still restlessly takes his HD in and out in the middle of the night but not as much as he used to.
there’s a huge horse trailer parked in the driveway for sale. kinda weird, no horse owners here. sometimes at night you can hear shouting from the house. sometime male. sometime female. mostly its quiet. it used to seem like a happy house. a boat. garage open, parties, kids, beautiful wife even if she’s sdpd, tommy really friendly always a smile. now its dead.

I watched the season premier with much excitement! I wanted to see if they were all dead yet. Looks like both of the “Prez’s” got kicked out, LOL. This show is a joke and scripted. This clown who calls himself “White Boi” paroled from the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility from a protective custody yard or to be politically correct a “Sensitive Needs Yard” (SNY). These yards consists of rats, snitches and child molesters. He was in protective custody over a drug debt and had to rat his way into SNY status. On the first episode of season 2 they show “White Boi” being released from the staff entrance of the state prison. Inmates never parole from this location. They show these posers greeting him outside the prison as he is being released by the staff entrance. The producers begged the Warden to allow them to film at this location for a fictional tv show. The Warden is in hot water for allowing the filming of these clowns on state grounds with their cuts on. This is a big “No, No” and a major breach of security. He will more than likely lose his job over this. They did five takes before security staff instructed them to leave.

White Boi is not on parole as the show portrays. His real name is Christopher Boultinghouse. He is a “Skin Head” gang member out of Riverside County that producers from the show recruited due to many “Laughing Stocks” have dropped out from the club. Christopher did 5 years for drug possession and he did 95% of his time at the California Rehabilitation Center in Norco. This place is the famous Hotel California in which there are no cells and only bunk beds in a dorm setting. Christopher got into a drug debt while at Hotel California and ratted out fellow Inmates who were out to collect and tax his ass. However, he talks tough as if he really hard timed it in a real hardcore prison. He was transferred to the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego. Christopher was housed in Facility 3 which is a Sensitive Needs Yard for rats, child molesters and gang drop-outs. Christopher was last paroled in July of 2011. Well before season one ever started filming. His CDC # was V-21272 and he was discharged off parole in August of 2012. Season two did not start filming until late fall of 2012. If Christopher was on parole he would not be allowed to be affiliated in a gang or where any type of gang clothing. The producers of the show have done a terrible job trying to make this show appear realistic. They do not realize that people in the know will hit the blogs with facts about how fake this show really is.
